Barcelona and defender Sergi Roberto have resumed negotiations over a contract extension.
According to Marca, the leadership of the Catalan club and the footballer’s agents held a meeting on Tuesday, April 12.
It was the first contact since talks broke down late last year. No agreement was reached, and both sides agreed to negotiate in the coming days.
The current contract of 30-year-old Roberto with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2022.
The defender has made 12 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
