The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) canceled the 2022 Kremlin CupRIA Novosti reports with reference to a joint press release of the organizations.
The tournament was to be held in October in Moscow.
The Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Monday recommended that sports federations not allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete. The IOC added that athletes and teams from Russia and Belarus can only participate as neutral athletes.
